Congratulations, Mark and Sandra! Bill is right, it's about time you receive your due for workmanship and innovation.
Wish I could've been there.

Hello Hatzers,

As we were leaving Oshkosh last year one of the judges approached us and asked why our plane wasn't being judged. After winning an award back in 2006 it never occurred to us to have it judged again. He insisted we do it again, so this year we did. Wow!

Back in 1998 while at Oshkosh we stumbled onto a Hatz built by Dale Severs and our world changed forever! We made the decision to build a Hatz and joined the American Hatz Association (now the HBA). Building and flying our own biplane has been one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives. The HBA, its members and the Hatz Bantam just keep on giving. Winning a top award is fun but being among all the other Hatz builders is the real reward.

Congratulations to our friends Chuck Brownlow and John Kerr for two more wonderful examples of Hatz biplanes and their respective recognition. Also, a big THANK YOU to all of you who have been with us on this rewarding adventure!
