with proper coverage from the anti collision lights, you won't need a beacon. I'm trying to find the link that shows the coverage requirements.

Some wing tip strobes provide left/right position, rear white position, and anti collision all in one... aeroleds comes to mind as one option.

I don't think you're allowed to flash the actual nav (position) lights. But if you have combo nav/strobe wingtip units, you don't need a separate strobe or beacon.
