Hey thanks everyone for your comments on my CB-1. I'm flying the time off (25 required) and enjoying every minute. Planning to fly to Brodhead and OSH. Here are some details about the Hatz.
Empty weight including oil 925 pounds.
All weight and balance calculations fell within limits
0-290-D2 with Sensenich prop 74in dia. 54 pitch
Tachs 2400 at take-off
Level flight at 2300 rpm-100 mph
2400 rpm-108 mph
2600 rpm-116 mph
at 2500 feet msl.
Airtech covering through primer
PPG paint- custom color 2 shades darker than their fire-engine red.
All markings are painted on
All Cub instruments including A-7 type mag switch
No electric
Tow hook installed installed for hand propping
6.00x6's with a Scott model 2000 tailwheel
22 gallons fuel total
Max T.O. weight 1542
Usefull load 617 pounds
