Wow, looks great! Tonight I just got finished laying up all the capstrip in the rib jig. A few changed to the jig... Not many. Tomorrow night I should glue my first rib!!! Very exciting!
I much say I want to ask about the spar choices... But I still have some time before I need that!!! And no space in my 1/4 of a garage to fit it anyway!
I also have put mine on Facebook.... It is free, and you can upload all the pics you want!

Hi Folks,

Yesterday we completed everything and determined the empty weight: At 1053 lbs it came out heavierthan we hoped it would be (1015 lbs was the goal), but with all that instrumentation on board (Transponder, ELT and Flarm) this must have been impossible. The speedring included, the major weight penalty are the Bendix wheels, which weigh abour 31 lbs each!
We are however very happy, as to our knowledge the lightest Classic (Billy Dawsons second ) ? weigh 1050 lbs!
We keep you posted!
