New builder
Hi,
My name is Wojciech (strange name, eh?) and I'm from Poland. I'm new here,
however observing the forum for couple of months now. Just wanted to say
hello. It looks like I will start building Hatz Classic soon. So far
gathering as much information as I only can. I've got hundreds of questions
left, but already found many answers here. Especially thanks to Doug,
Scott, Jeff, Ed, Hans and Sam, Ron and many many others.
At the moment I am the lucky owner of HC plans #164. Planning to mount
R3600 in the front. Recently I started my journey with Polish CAA. My
project is first in Poland so I don't expect it will be so easy.
Cheers,
Wojciech

Welcome to the Hatz group, Wojceich,
Is your project the first homebuilt in Poland or the first Hatz Classic?

Welcome,
You're at the beginning of a long journey, but one well worth taking.
The closer you can stick to the plans, the fewer detours you'll take and the shorter your journey will be.

Welcome, Woha! Glad to have you on board. Yep, it's a journey. An enjoyable and satisfying one!
There was a fellow named Bob Lyjack (spelling is wrong, but it's pronounced the same as I spelled it) who toured the US back in the 70's doing some incredible acro in a Taperwing Waco. I don't suggest this in a Hatz, but his paint scheme had the Polish Eagle painted on the top of the center section with sunburst stripes radiating out to the wings. It was white with red. A beautiful airplane. You are a long way from paint, but it's never too early to dream of the finished product.
Enjoy the adventure! We will be here enjoying it with you!
