Quick wing walk question

Post by PoconoJohn »

I'm about to place a large order for wood; trying to get it all in one shot (the big stuff anyway).

Looking at the plans for the wing walk, I see it's 1/4 scale. By my math, that means the walk is about 1' X 4'. That doesn't seem right. So, just checking.

Thank you.

No, thats right. The wing walk covers the first rib bay. Since they are 12" on center that means the wing walk is around 11" wide as the root rib is angled outboard to allow for dihedral.
