I had my strut forks made locally at a company by the name of CompTech-EDM a few years ago. It's a small company. Our strut forks were made to the drawings and are very nice. Ron Sieck has a set of them on his Hatz also. Because there has been so much discussion about a source for them I contacted the company and asked if he would be interested in making more of these. He said he would be interested in making more and said I could pass on his contact information.

Thanks too!Great info.

I have the machines to make my own forks in my shop, just wonder why they are so hard to find as an off-the-shelf part? Are they a special type/size or is it the way the fitting is designed that makes finding the terminal forks unique?

.... still no plans yet, so I am winging this.

Hey Everyone, I thought I'd get this back on the radar again as I'm going to be needing these this year. Has anyone had any success in locating these or having them made?

John, Do you know if CompTech-EDM still willing to make them?

Hi Doug,
I talked to him less than a year ago and he said he would make more if anyone needs them. He does excellent work. See my post on Aug 24, 2011. Give him a call.

OK, I've exchanged emails w/Carl and he is willing to make more if we want them. At current prices/rates he can do them for $55/ea. If we get a group order together and order 10 or more then he'll do it for $50/ea (this is actually the 2004 price he should have charged).

So, question for folks out there... any interest in a group order?

Hi Hatz folks,

Greetings from over the big lake!
Recently we talked to the manaufacturer of our cabane forks and he told us that he would be willing to manaufacture another row of forks. So, just in case, if you are interested and we beleave the price for a set of 6 forks might be interesting when a number of about 10 sets could be collected. He would do the deal directly with our support for English language.

By the way, we are deep into covering and will get our Rotec engine on June 1st!!! Yeah!!!

Kind regrads
