Static load test

Post by stearmoth »

Hi Hatzers

We are pleased to let you know that our Classic and Juerg Mueller's CB-1 wings successfully passed a 4g static load test today! This may be the first static load test carried out on Hatz wing structures. The test was executed under the engineering direction of Juerg Mueller.
We are very delighted (and facilitated) about the results. The wings were loaded to the equivalent of 1600lbs max TO weight at 4g. The wing tips deflected about 3/4". More to follow and also watch our website when updated.

Best regards
Hans & Sam and Juerg Mueller

Hi Hatz friends

Checkout this link to see details about our wing load test: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8RTbG4vW ... ature=plcp

We tested both our Classic wings and Juerg's basically CB-1 wings in a row at the aequivalent to a 4 G load.
