Hatz Biplane Association

Hi gang

Has anyone contacted Mackelan Corp lately? I sent a letter and check to Jeff at the address listed on the webb site (PO Box 312142, New Braunfels, TX) to try to get the rest of the plans, and my letter came back marked "not deliverable as addressed".

Anyone know whats going on?

I've been in touch with Jeff through email recently with no problems at all. I know Jeff is busy and it usually takes a few days to get a reply but he always does.

I just have received an email from Jeff last week! Try the email noted on his website and you might reach him. He will not attend eighter Brodhead nor Osh this year!

I promised myself that I wouldn't embark on this crazy Hatz plan until I passed my checkride. Well, I'm happy to report that the FAA recognizes me as a private pilot as of last week! So, I'm running out of excuses to order these plans!

This is my first post as I don't normally have much to say, but here's my experience so far. I ordered plans 3/7; still waiting. I sent an email and here's the response she sent 3/27:

Hello John,

So sorry for being so late with your order. We have had a delay due to an outside source. The plans were numbered today and will be mailed tomorrow. Your credit card will be charged tomorrow afternoon.

Again, we are so sorry for this delay. Thank you for your business.

It's now 4/2 (morning) and my credit card has still not been charged. I still have no plans.

Not home, but told I have a delivery from FedEx, so looks like the plans arrived Tuesday, April 3rd.
