Great flight. Beautiful plane. Well done.

Are you happy with the Rotex? Love the sound

Yes, we are very happy with our Rotec radial. It runs very well! However, the prop is overpitched, will have to have a new one. Last weekend we compared the airspeed indicator with the one on the GPS: we found, that the true airspeed is more than indicated! More later, when results are ready to publish.

Hello Hans and Sam,
I had the same overpitched condition on the prop I bought for one of my planes and the maker of the prop was able to carve out some of the pitch. He cannot add pitch, but often there is ample material to flatten the angle. You do lose a little in the width of the blade, but that favors the direction you need. Just a thought.
Congratulations again,
Al

Hi Al,

thank you very much for the hint! First we check with MT Propellers what they might offer us, because we ordered something different! They might propose the same - will see.

Kind regrads
Hans

P.S. another 2 pics taken in the evening sun with nice surrounding

Hi Hatz friends,

I am also getting older, have passed my 63th birthday and my dear daughter painted our "Vintage Hatz" in flight for me!
I would like to share this beautiful painting with the gang!

Best regards
Hans, Switzerland
