I carefully made a wooden template, used it to traced in pencil all the other nose blocks, rough cut them close to the line, then used three finishing nails to gently nail the template to the rough cut piece.
I put my router in a router table with a 1/4" trimming bit just high enough to reach the template (on the top layer). half an hour later I had a stack of nose blocks all beautifully cut and precisely the same.
OH BTW, for the middle holes, you'll need to drill a 1/2" hole to start the router bit.
Hope that makes sense. It works great for all sorts of pieces.
