changing to push rods for ailerons

Not worth it. I've flown over 10 plus hrs a day on several occasions and the weight of ailerons were the least of my discomforts. If you can figure out something to do away with leg cramps and a sore ass then you'll be on to something.

I was thinking about you when Gaylon mentioned ailerons and cross country flying. You come to appreciate the sluggish ailerons of the Hatz if you've ever flown a Pitts cross country, can't even look at the map without ending up knife edge.

Fly Babies have push rods with piano hinged ailerons and have a very light feel. You can fly with one finger.
