Well got my engine hung ob #532 and found out the Engine mount I have is not quite right. The two 5/8" diagonal struts coming up and out from the lower center to the bottom mounts are too far forward and hitting the intake pipes and lower case.I bought the project and the fellow who is no longer with us. Print 27 shows a Engine mount for a Lycoming O-290 using 5/8" .049 wall tubing. I would like to buy the tubing and have it ready to go when O cut out the 2 struts and be able to put the new ones right in. Can any of you guys out there flying O-320's confirm the the tubing wall thickness is .049 and not something heavier for an O-320 mount?
Thanks
