I was really surprised when I saw a guy at Oshkosh making a fuselage with an abrasive cut-off and a duckbill snips. His joints were completely acceptable and very quick. True, the learning curve may not have been too steep, but after doing mine with saw and grinder it was crazy. A pair of snips reportedly lasted one fuselage. Tubing was .035 wall.
